18 Ships Berth At PH Port
Eighteen Ships laden with 237,033 tonnes of goods to berthed at the Port Harcourt Port from June 18 to June 20.
The Shipping Position, a report of the NPA made available to The Tide on Tuesday in Port Harcourt, reported that seven of the ships were carrying bagged rice.
It said that four ships were laden with frozen fish, two with bulk wheat, three had petroleum products, while one each had bulk salt and bulk cement.
The report said the ships with bagged rice are MV Marcelo Tres with 25,000 tonnes, MV Maha Deepa with 13,500, MV Majesty with 17,000 tonnes while MV Sea Rose had 15,000, tonnes.
Other ships with bagged rice are MV Vinalines Green laden with 20,000 tonnes, MV Peace Success with 15,000 tonnes and MV New Fortune.
The report said ships with frozen fish were MV Rain Frost with 4459.240 tonnes, MV Blue Ice with 980 tonnes, Naya Zemlya with 1800 tonnes and MV Green Honduras with 4000 tonnes .It said two ships carrying bulk Wheat are MV Orient Transit and MT Spring Hawk.
The report said MV Elieni D was carrying 20,000 tonnes of bulk cement while MV Martingy had 5560 tonnes of bulk salt.
