Mark Tasks Youths On Golf
Senate President David Mark has called on youths to embrace the game of golf with passion.
Mark told newsroom in Abuja, that Nigerians should stop regarding golf as an elite game alone.
He noted that youths in other parts of the world including Africa, had developed the passion for the sport, adding that Nigeria should not lag behind.
The Senate President who is a golfer, cited the recent All Africa Challenge Trophy held in Abuja at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, where “young golfers participated from the eastern and southern Africa more than the western coast”.
Mark said: “Nigerians have to start learning golf very early. IBB Golf Club presents an opportunity for boys and girls to learn the game. “
“We have all the talents we need. We just need to expose our youths early to the game,” he said.
