The people of Adanta village of Isiokpo in Ikwerre Local Government Area, have finally resolved their chieftaincy crisis following the admission into the Oha Adanta of Chief Dennis Amadi.

Speaking to The Tide during the installation ceremony, Prof Benjamin Achor Amadi said the ceremony signalled the return of peace to Adanta village, Isiokpo.
“For us, it is a great day as our father today is a member of Oha Adanta village, Isiokpo Community.
“He is installed today as the Oha, but in due course he will be installed in Oha Isiokpo, then, when that is done, he will now become the head of Adanta Community and Ebereonwu III,” he said.
Prof. Benjamin also said the ceremony has brought unity and oneness to the ancient Adanta village.
He urged the new Oha Adanta to reach out to every segment of the community, stressing that the time to build on the peace of the community has come.
Also speaking, the first son of the new Oha Adanta, Sam Ichechi Amadi, said the family and by extension the community was happy over the new development.

He described the presentation of a Bible to the Oha by the community as symbolic, adding that the leadership of Adanta should put God first in everything.
Chinda also confirmed during an interview that the ceremony became possible following the resolution of the matter by the Oha Isiokpo.
In his exhortation Apostle Joel Alozie, charged the new Oha to ensure equity and justice in the community .
According to him,”the throne should be impartial in the dispensation of justice”.
He also charged the people to give their full support to the Oha.
The new Oha Adanta, Chief Dennis N Amadi, in an interview said he would unify the community, calling for support.
It would be recalled that Chief Dennis N Amadi, who is over 80 years old is one of the Apostle Generals of the internal sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim (ESOC) church.

Rivers Judiciary Denies Issuing Court Order Stopping SOLAD from Swearing in RSCSC Members
The Rivers State Judiciary has denied a media report claiming that Justice Frank Onyiri of the State High Court issued an injunction order restraining the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), from inaugurating the newly appointed members of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission (RSCSC).
In a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Registrar in charge of litigation at the High Court, Menenen Poromon (Esq), the state Judiciary disassociated itself from the report, describing it as malicious and fabricated.
The statement emphasized that the report was a falsehood and a misrepresentation of what transpeared in the court.
Poromon clarified that no such order was issued by Justice Onyiri or any other judge of the High Court of the state and urged the public to disregard the information, as it lacked any iota of truth.
The statement however advised the public to verify any information concerning the state Judiciary directly from the office of the Chief Registrar, High Court of the State, to avoid spreading of misinformation.
