Royal Fathers Hail Wike Over Flyover Project

The Paramount Ruler of Woji Community, Eze Emeka Ihunwo and other traditional rulers have commended Governor Nyesom Wike for the flag-off of the Rumuokwurusi/ Elimgbu flyover project.
The other traditional rulers include Eze Sidney Worlu, Nyerisi Mbam Oro Esara and Eze Simeon Wokoma, Paramount ruler of Rumuokwurusi community.
Speaking with newsmen during the ceremony, Ihunwo said the 10th flyover will end the problem of congestion usually experienced along the East-West Road.
Ihunwo said the project will create employment opportunities thereby boosting the economy of the area.
He also commended Governor Wike for promising to commission the project before the expiration of his tenure in office.
The Nyerisi Mbam Oro Esara Kingdom, HRH. Eze Sidney Worlu also conveyed his people’s excitement over the gesture.
Worlu said the project will create thousands of employment opportunities for the people.
The traditional ruler warned miscreants to keep off the Kingdom as the people will not tolerate anything that will disturb the contractors working on the project.
On his part, the Paramount Ruler of Rumuokwurusi community, Eze Simeon .C. Amadi said the people of Rumuokwurusi will support the contractors to ensure that the project is completed.
Amadi also commended the Governor for siting the project in the community, stressing that it would facilitate the movement of persons, goods and services in the community.
According to him, there will be employment opportunities for the youths.
