2023: ‘Wike Has Requisite Qualities To Run For Presidency’
The Traditional Prime Minister of Emohua Kingdom and legal practitioner in Rivers State, Eze (Barrister) Godspower Onuekwa, has scored high the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike in the past six years, contending that with the excellent performance of the administration, the governor has the requisite qualities and credentials to run for the presidency in 2023.
Onuekwa, who made the assertion in an exclusive interview with The Tide in Port Harcourt, said the Wike administration has executed tangible projects which all can see and feel, and commended the governor for recently commissioning the Rumuola Flyover and the GRA Flyover, among other laudable projects.
According to him, the governor has not only done well in delivering the dividends of democracy to Rivers people but has also done better than most Governors in the country.
Onuekwa further indicated that the governor’s good works are worthy of emulation, contending that the present administration has equally made remarkable strides in the areas of peace and security, describing Wike as a Golden Governor and a true Ikwerre man to the core.
While urging the Ikwerre people in particular and other Rivers people in general to continue to support Governor Wike, the renowned estate broker said, as a learned lawyer of high intelligence, Solicitor of the Supreme Court and Life Bencher, coupled with his vast political experience, the Governor has all it takes to administer Nigeria as President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces.
According to him, Governor Wike has all the qualities to take a shot at the Presidency come 2023.

Rivers Judiciary Denies Issuing Court Order Stopping SOLAD from Swearing in RSCSC Members
The Rivers State Judiciary has denied a media report claiming that Justice Frank Onyiri of the State High Court issued an injunction order restraining the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), from inaugurating the newly appointed members of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission (RSCSC).
In a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Registrar in charge of litigation at the High Court, Menenen Poromon (Esq), the state Judiciary disassociated itself from the report, describing it as malicious and fabricated.
The statement emphasized that the report was a falsehood and a misrepresentation of what transpeared in the court.
Poromon clarified that no such order was issued by Justice Onyiri or any other judge of the High Court of the state and urged the public to disregard the information, as it lacked any iota of truth.
The statement however advised the public to verify any information concerning the state Judiciary directly from the office of the Chief Registrar, High Court of the State, to avoid spreading of misinformation.
