Dr. Cookey said the union started in the old Rivers in 1960 among notable secondary schools before its work became consolidated in the 70s in the Port Harcourt Region, which compromised of Rivers and Bayelsa states.
As of today, he said the union, operated in many primary schools across the two states, reaching out and building the morals of over 2000 pupils, hold fellowships and devotion in about 500 secondary schools within the two states, with a students membership of 10,000.
