Youth Dev, My Priority – Hon Loolo
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Khana Constituency ll in the Rivers State House of Assembly in the forthcoming Rivers re-run polls, Hon Dinebari Loolo, has declared that youth development and empowerment in the constituency would be his foremost priority when re-elected into the state legislative house.
Loolo, who spoke with The Tide is an interview in Port Harcourt recently, said the projection of the youth on a strong footing in human capacity development can secure the future of the constituency.
According to Loolo, who served as Rivers State House of Assembly Deputy Leader, before his election was truncated by court decision, “Functional educational and youth empowerment programmes would be introduced in the area to harness the enormous, human and natural potentials in the constituency”.
To achieve this objective, Loolo urged youth in the area to embrace peace so as to rid the area of the menace of cultism, which he described as a “disincentive to development”.
Loolo, a lawyer by profession, assured to give the people of Khana Constituency ll effective representation by articulating their voice through robust contributions to legislative debates.
Commenting on his prospect of victory at the re-run polls, Loolo said his people were ready to revalidate his mandate, as his mass-based supporters were well mobilised and sensitised for the re-run.
He said the people will resist any attempt to rig in the rerun and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fair and credible rerun and redeem its image.
