nications Satellite (NigComSat) says it will revolutionise government operations by guaranteeing a reliable and secure communication infrastructure.
The NigComSat Manager, External Relations, Mrs Asmau Galadanchi, made the assertion while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.
“NigComSat-IR will revolutionise the way government of a country operates by guaranteeing a reliable and secure communication infrastructure needed toward effectiveness and efficiency,“ she said.
According to her, government ministries can communicate and make decisions with a click of a button leading to a more streamlined, more transparent and more progressive government.
She said that contractors could also review and bid for government jobs from around the world easily.
She said that the NigComSat Direct to Home (DTH) Facility Operated by Platinum Plus TV (PPTV) provided broadcast operators with infrastructure needed to deliver audio, video and other media to compete in an increasingly diverse DTH market place.
“With continuous innovations seen in media delivery, our solutions will provide broadcast operators the tools to incorporation larger channel line-ups.
“Also, interactive services, high-definition programming and the introduction of hybrid multi-network delivery,“ she added.
