Abe Flays Withdrawal Of Tambuwal’s Security Details
The Senator representing
Rivers South-East Senatorial Zone, Hon Magnus Abe, has described the withdrawal of the security details attached to the Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal as an act of carelessness on the part of the Federal Government.
Speaking shortly after receiving into the All Progressives Congress (APC) the chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairmen Forum, Gokona Local Government Area, Mr. Borioma Fili who defected from the PDP, Senator Abe said that the Constitution of Nigeria guarantees every citizens the right of association.
He said that Hon. Tambuwal did not violate any section of the constitution to warrant his security details being withdrawn.
The senator also said that the current level of insurgency in the Northern parts of the country was a demonstration of the poor leadership by the Federal Government, stressing that Nigeria at the moment needed a leadership that can proffer solution to her Mgriad of problems.
He also assured the speaker that, the people of Nigeria; Particularly Gokana would continue to stand behind him.
Meanwhile Senator Abe has urged the people of Gokana to turnout enmess for the forth-coming voters registration exercise.
He said that their massive participation would enable them to contribute towards the enthronement of a regime of change in the country come 2015 election.
Senator Abe used the occasion to commend Mr. Barioma Fili for dumping the People Democratic Party for the All Progressive Congress (APC) assuring that he would enjoy all the benefits attached to memberships of the party.
Earlier, Mr. Borioma Fili who was chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 17 Biara, in Gokana LGA said that he would dumped the PDP because the APC represents truth and progress, was Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 17 Biara in Gokana LGA said that he dumped the PDP because the APC represents Truth and progress.

Rivers Judiciary Denies Issuing Court Order Stopping SOLAD from Swearing in RSCSC Members
The Rivers State Judiciary has denied a media report claiming that Justice Frank Onyiri of the State High Court issued an injunction order restraining the Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (rtd), from inaugurating the newly appointed members of the Rivers State Civil Service Commission (RSCSC).
In a statement issued by the Deputy Chief Registrar in charge of litigation at the High Court, Menenen Poromon (Esq), the state Judiciary disassociated itself from the report, describing it as malicious and fabricated.
The statement emphasized that the report was a falsehood and a misrepresentation of what transpeared in the court.
Poromon clarified that no such order was issued by Justice Onyiri or any other judge of the High Court of the state and urged the public to disregard the information, as it lacked any iota of truth.
The statement however advised the public to verify any information concerning the state Judiciary directly from the office of the Chief Registrar, High Court of the State, to avoid spreading of misinformation.
