LG Boss Extols Amaechi’s Leadership Qualities
The Chairman of Eleme Local Government Council, Mr Orji Ngofa has extolled the leadership qualities of Governor Amaechi which has brought rapid development and transformation of the state.
Mr. Ngofa was speaking during the commissioning and handing over of the Eteo primary healthcare centre, which is number 53 in the series of the ongoing project 60 in 60 in 60 programme to commemorate Governor Amaechi’s 3rd year anniversary.
He pledged that the council will complement government’s effort by ensuring that the health centre is functional always.
Also speaking, the Eteo Council of Chiefs in Eleme Local Government Area, expressed gratitude to Governor Amaechi for the establishment of primary healthcare centre in the area.
In an address at the commissioning, the people said they have suffered so much in the past to receive medical aids from distant health institutions like the Bori General Hospital, the situation had led to the death of many persons.
They expressed optimism that with the commissioning and handing over of the health centre, infant and maternal mortality would be reduced and assured that they would utilise the health centre.
