A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Khana Local Government Area, Hon Dinebari Loolo has stated that the people of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State are in total support of Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for a second tenure in office because of his developmental strides in the area.
Speaking with The Tide in an interview in Bori, during a solidarity rally organised by PDP stakeholders in the Rivers South East Senatorial District, Hon. Loolo, said Governor Wike has made tremendous impact on the lives of Khana people through developmental projects.
He pointed out that the dualisation of the SaaKpenwa-Bori road, the reconstruction of Birabi Memorial Grammar School and the building of a remodelled General Hospital in Bori, have transformed the area into an ideal municipal and urban status.
The former legislator noted that before now, the people of Khana and other users of the Saakpenwa-Bori road experienced difficulties because of the deplorable condition of the road, but today those difficulties were things of the past.
Loolo, a former deputy leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly and grassroots politician, said he will mobilise mass-based support for the Governor in 2019 through his grassroots organisation known as “Akeere Khana”.
He described PDP as the only party with the prospect of salvaging Khana and Rivers State politically, stating that “the mammoth crowd that witnessed the Rivers South East PDP solidarity rally, is a clear testimony that our party is evidently on ground”.
