Mr. and Mrs. Emmanuel Roberts after their marriage ceremony recently.

Couples all over the globe have been advised to always embrace love, understanding and absolute devotion to the Almighty God in all ramifications to enable their marriages grow and flourish.
Speaking recently at the solemnisation of holy matrimony between former Ms. Annabel Albert of Agodele Albert Family in Ore Local Government Area of Ondo State and Mr. Emmanuel Robert of Robert Family in Nung Ukim Ikot-Etefia Community, Ikono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, which took place at Giving Hope Restoration and Prophetic Ministries, Port Harcourt, General Overseer of the church, Pastor Paul Nwiyee, admonished coupled to embrace Christ in order to leave a better future for their marriages.
Nwiyee who spoke on the theme: “Love”, with text from 1 Corinthians chapter 13: 13, urges the husband and wife to genuinely love one another in all their endeavours without reservation, describing marriage as, “divine arrangement for blissful relationship”.
According to him, “you both should tolerate, care and expressed, divine love to allow the relationship to bring good and rewarding tidings, devoid of divulging official matters to the third parties, especially the families of the bride and groom, friends and well-wishers, among others.”
He stressed that marriage without genuine and directional love, tolerance, care and above-all fear of God ends in poverty, chaos, sickness and death, pointing out that God will hold accountable couples who flout such commandments against marital disaster.
The servant of God further enjoined relations of the couple not to interfere at any point in time into the internal affairs of their children which creates marital squabbles and divorce, rather they should guide them through with prayers for a blissful and prosperous married life.
On the way forward for the couple, he urged the bride and groom to be proactive in their daily activities with the love of Jesus Christ and build good relationship for growth.
“You must ensure that the love offered by Christ to mankind is sustained in your marriage for blissful growth. I urge both of you to express God-fearing love in good and difficult times not leaning on the interference of family members, friends and well-wishers for the marriage to flourish,” he said.
In a vote-of-thanks, the groom, Mr. Emmanuel Robert, thanked God Almighty for granting him the day, as well as those who defiled their tight schedules to grace the event, he described the ceremony as God’s ordained.
Speaking with The Tide, the bride, Mrs. Annabel Emmanuel Robert commended the efforts of those who were in attendance to give the event a meaning, described her husband as “divine connection and gift for fruitful married life”.
