Nollywood Stars Flay Pastors’ Lifestyles
Popular Lagos State social life and showbiz personality, Pretty Mike, has taken to his instagram page to advise young Nigerians to stop worshiping their pastors as pastors are human beings that have no power, adding that if they have the power they claim to have, Nigerians would not be the way they are.
He said “stupidity is when you don’t have a bicycle and you give your last Kobo to your pastor to buy a jet. Mumu is when you cannot pay your children’s school fees, yet have money to contribute to your church to build expensive school which your children will never attend. Ignorance is when you believe it when your pastor tells you not to live a worldly life, and yet he enjoys all the best things in the world, the fine houses cars, jets, babes etc, while you are waiting till you get to heaven to enjoy your own”.
“Ewu” is when you refuse to take your very sick child to the hospital because your pastor said you should not do so, yet that same pastor secretly runs to USA for medical attention anytime he has an headache. While kolo mental is when you see a poor beggar on the road and you refuse to give him N50 out of the 5000 naira in your pocket because it is your tithe money”.
You are a Zombie when you trek, dance and gallivant for 30 kilometres under the hot sun sweating and smelling like shit during your revival programme, while your pastor is inside a full option factory fitted air conditioned state-of-the-art suv with his delectable wife slow driving along the road. “Stop worshipping your pastors!!!, they are human beings like you, they don’t have any power, if they had the power they claim they have, Nigeria will not be the way it is”.
“If you don’t like what I have said, argue with your keyboard and don’t insult me because I know most of you are being brain washed by your. Wise up Nigerians. Even the white men that brought Christianity to Africa don’t do it that way.”
In a related development, Nollywood Actress turned evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi recently took to her instagram to spit venom at church pastors and general overseers whom she alleged treat their younger pastors unfairly. She wrote “this thing of sending an assistant pastor to start a new branch without any financial assistance, asking them to go and prove their ministry looks like wickedness in religious robe”.
The Nollywood screen diva went further to lambast Daddy General Overseers (GOS) who sit back and lick the sweat off the back of younger pastors, those she said are sent out to grow their ministry without any financial support, this is wickedness, she said..
“It is your ministry, your responsibility, your vision and you should also be part of the provision, let’s be real and truthful to our selves, let our conscience judge this thing”, she ranted.
Recall that Eucharia Anunobi rose to fame for her explicit bathroom scene with Zack Orji in the mid’ ‘90s in one of Nollywood’s hit movies, ‘Glamour Girls’ which remains one of the most controversial scenes in the Nigerian movie industry till date.
Recently she took to instagram to write on deception. The actress who wondered why a single lady with no means of income will be living in a palatial apartment, also raised some important points in her post. Here is what she wrote.
“I can’t thank God enough for journey mercy to and from America, but one thing has been bugging my mind and that is deception. The manual of living (the Bible) says in Galatians 6:3, for if a man thinks himself to be something where he is nothing, he deceivers himself”, this scripture just blew my mind .
“Why would a man be married with children and go back getting into illicit relationships with single ladies and promise them marriage? Why would a single lady who doesn’t have a known means of income be living in a palatial apartment, why buy a vehicle you can’t maintain? Why do you take a mortgage on a house above what you can afford? Why do you have children you can’t take care of…? “ all these are nothing but deception.
