Tribunal Judgement: Solidarity For Wike Excites Obuah

The Chairman of the Rivers State Chapter of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Bro Felix Obuah has applauded members of the party, Rivers people and members of the opposition political parties in the state for their show of solidarity with Governor Nyesom Wike on his arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport, last Saturday.
The party has also commended the people for turning out en-masse to join the party faithful in solidarity at the Thanksgiving Service/Rally in support of the governor last Sunday,  at the Obi Wali International Conference Center, Port Harcourt.
The PDP chairman said in a press statement in Port Harcourt by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, that the unity of purpose shown by Rivers people to secure the mandate overwhelmingly given to Governor Nyesom Wike against the common enemies of the state, was heartwarming.
Obuah while urging them to continue to support and identify with Wike, assured them that the PDP would religiously guard the mandate Rivers people faithfully and overwhelmingly gave to the governor.
He urged Rivers people to continue to remain calm and peaceful in the face of the gang-up by the former governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and the All Progressives Congress (APC) led-Federal Government against Governor Wike who has demonstrated unequalled courage and capability to reposition the state.
Obuah, who reaffirmed the resolve of the PDP and Wike to appeal against the judgment, also took a swipe at the APC and Mr Tonye Princewill of the Labour Party for begging Wike and the PDP not to appeal against the judgment.
He said their separate pleas with the governor and the PDP not to appeal against the ‘compromised’ judgment have clearly exposed not only their warped mentality but also those behind the contraption called judgment and how it was gotten through the back door.
