2014 Award:Oil Firm Honours 318 Workers

workers have been honoured with the 2014 long service award by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) in Port Harcourt.
Speaking at the occasion on Friday, NAOC’s Vice Chairman/Managing Director, Massimo Insulla, reiterated the management’s commitment towards staff welfare, manpower development and creation of a conducive work environment, pointing out that the company appreciated the individual and collective sacrifices made towards the achievements of the corporate objectives of the organisation over the years.
According to him, “the benefit of your experiences will continue to form part of our strength as a company and create the assurance that, irrespective of the uncertainties, we can sustain our companies on the path of growth and success.”
Insulla noted that despite the huge difficulties occasioned by oil theft, damage to facilities through bunkering and pipeline vandalism and shortage of funding especially for the NAOC joint venture operations, that together NAOC had managed to steer the firm on the path of sustainable growth, through collective efforts.
He expressed his desire to work with the unions to achieve a stable and peaceful working environment that would guarantee collective interests as individuals and as a company.
Respective awardees interviewed, expressed their profound gratitude for NAOC to recognise their respective inputs towards the successful growth of the company, saying that the feat was motivational, as well as incentive to boost their morale and strength.
They commended the management and assured to put in their best to sustain the success story of the company.
