Nollywood Stars Storm PH For New Movie …As Liz Benson Bounces Back To Acting

Kalu Ikeagwu and Nse Ikpe Etim, have stormed Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital to shoot a new movie titled, “the Green Eye D!!
The movie directed by Blessing Udefe features upcomers, Anthonia  Nwosu and Paul Osibo,  among others.
It is centred on the tale of betrayal and the power of enduring love. It is expected to premiere in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and London soon.
Another interesting new movie is “Onikola” produced by Funmi” Fiberesima and directed by Dotun Taylor. It Starrs: Dejumio Lewis, Ara, Sunday Afolabi, Ronke Oshodi, Oke Ibrahim Chatta and Funmi herself as well as lake Fatai Rolling Dollars.
The movie expected to be released in DVD market portrays the  effect of female genital circumstition and its eradication.
Meanwhile, veteran Nollywood actress Liz Benson has reportedly made a surprise return to the Nigerian movie industry recently. The screen goddess was featured in a Stephanie Okereke Linus new movie titled ‘DRY’ which talks about Visico Vaginal Fistula (V.V.F) a disease in young women .
Since her return to Nollywood, their has been excitement as most of her fans express joy in having her back after several years of absence in movies.
Liz Benson started acting as a kid, she gained stardom when she acted in the popular TV Services ‘Fortunes’ in 1993 when she played the role of Mrs Agnes Johnson. Her role in the ‘Glamour Girles’ also stood her out.
In 1996, she left acting to become a born again Christian and in 2009 she married Bishop Great Emeya at the Rainbow Christain  Assembly, Warri, Delta State, having lost her first husband Samuel Gabriel Etim to death.
She is presently involved in the work of soul winning for God in Warri where she is based with her hubby.
