Robbery Attack: Senator Sympathises With Traders
Senator Bindow Jibrilla representing Adamawa State North Senatorial District, has sympathised with traders of Mubi Central Market over the recent robbery attack on the market.
Some gunmen recently attacked the market robbing traders before the army caught up with the escaping gunmen around Digil village and killed 13 of them.
Jibrilla, who was accompanied to the market by the chairman of Mubi North Local Government, Alhaji Sahabo Jauro, condemned the incident and urged the marketers to be more vigilant and security conscious.
Jibrilla, who is a member of Senate Committee on Defence, re-iterated government’s commitment to security of lives and property and urged the people to continue to cooperate and support security operatives for maximum result in the area.
Responding on behalf of the traders, the Chairman, Mubi Chambers of Commerce, Alhaji Abdulkadir Musa, thanked the Senator for the concern and show of solidarity.
“We are grateful for the show of concern and solidarity,” Musa said.
The Senator also paid a similar visit to Mubi Army formation where he commended the soldiers for their effective role in tracking down some of the robbers shortly after the incident.
