A 22-Shop Ultra Modern Shopping Plaza has been commissioned in Bida, Niger State with members of Cooperative Thrift and Credit Society (CT & CS) Federal Medical Centre, (FMC) Bida, Niger State being charged to be at fore front of developing Bida town and entire Nupe land.
The FMC Medical Director, Dr Alaba George Okuku gave the charge in Bida recently during the commissioning of the 22-shops ultra-modern shopping plaza.
The opening/dedication of the multi-million naira shopping plaza which heralded the 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the co-operative society, however, saw the Medical Director, Chairman of Bida Local Government, Mallam Mustapha Edota representative of the Etsu Nupe and other dignitaries applauding pharmacist Idris Makun Jimada, President of the CT & CS and his Executives.
Earlier in his address, the Medical Director, Okuku, stated that “I am so glad today that the CT &CS have not let me down but had taken up my challenge to them even far higher than my imagination and expectations”.
He urged members of the co-operative to be at fore front of developing not only Bida town but entire Nupe land and Niger State, even as clamour for creation of Edu State was getting stronger .
“I want to also charged you to be at the steering of driving the developmental agenda as well as being a formidable driving force that could be reckon with, it all starts here as a medical institution”.
