Cleric Tasks Women On Sacrificial Lifestyle

The Co-ordinator of the Women Ministries, Assemblies of God Nigeria, Dr. Mrs Paul Emeka Sharon, has charged women across the borders of Nigeria, to present themselves a living sacrifice, worthy and acceptable unto God.

Dr. Mrs Sharon ceased the occasion of the Women’s Day Celebration, recently organised by the General Council of Assemblies of God Nigeria, to task the women on worthy character.

She recalled that the last year’s edition of the celebration, availed women the opportunity to learn about “family weapons of warfare”.

The lesson, she noted, strengthened the women’s spiritual life to live more holy unto the Lord and to combat problems in their homes.

However, Dr. Sharon believed that this year’s would provide an opportunity to learn “a worthy character”, which would arm the Godly woman to squarely face the challenges daily posed by the home, office, business, community and wider society.

She maintains that worthy character brings favour from both God and man, as it stands out as the only panacea to societal ills such as robbery, cheating, ritual killing, kidnapping, stigmatisation, terrorism, thuggery, etc.
