Globacom Telecommunication Limited will in the next two years establish over 300 Glo Zone neigbourhood customer care centres across the country to better her services to the brand subscribers in rural areas.
This was revealed by the company’s head of South Territory Onne, Mr. Charles Odiase during the commissioning of Onne Glo-Zone.
Odiase reiterated that Globacom, one of the biggest telecommunication industries in Nigeria embarked on this special customer focused service package (Glo Zone) to ensure that subscribers at the rural areas enjoy the services of the brand without travelling to the urban areas where Gloworld-shops are located.
The South Territory head, Onne said that the opening of Glo zones is to enable the company cope with the ever growing demand from Globacom subscribers especially those in the rural areas, stating that before the end of two years, Globacom would have commissioned over 300 Glo zones throughout the country.
Commissioning the Onne Glo zone, Hon. Josiah Olu, a member of Rivers State House of Assembly, commended Globacom for what he called good services, noting that bringing Globacom to the rural areas is a step in the right direction.
Hon. Olu assured the company of Onne people’s continued patronage, adding that “the only problem we had was the retrieval of our lines and service care delivery but with the commissioning of Glo Zone here, the problem will be a thing of the past”.
In a related development, Globacom also commissioned Glo Zone in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The commissioning was supervised by the Head South Territory, Globacom, Mr. Yemi Oresanya who noted the preparedness of the big telecommunication industry to serve her subscribers better.
