Earlier, assistant coach  of the team Whyte Ogbonda has said that the team will go far in the 2010/2011 soccer season.

“I want to say that the team will continue from their performance last season, starting with our outing this weekend, we pledge to make our fans and the Rivers people smile again”, he said.

Meanwhile, the week one matches could not hold, as scheduled and will await a new date.
