As the Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH) marked their 4th convocation ceremony Saturday, a Port Harcourt based journalist, Blessing Okoro has emerged the best graduating student in the Department of Mass Communication with Second Class Upper Division (2.1)
Speaking with the Campus Insight in Port Harcourt last week, Miss Okoro said that her success was gained via hard work and determination.
She explained that though there were challenges but was courageous due to her level of preparation.
According to her, the best way to achieve one’s set goals, was to plan for it, work towards it and live it for God.
The reporter, thanked her lecturers for their support and advice as well as other students from the department who she said were instrumental to her success.
She has also thanked God for keeping her through the hurdles in the school ranging from threats by cult members who made life difficult in the campus.
Earlier, she has lauded her parent for their financial support and encouragement throughout her hurdles in her academic pursuit.
