For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”John 3 vs 16.
This portion of the bible confirms the love of God in our lives. Therefore, it is necessary for us to notice his agape love, which he has bestowed on us, so as to make a rightful decision today. What is this rightful decision you are expected to take? It is to check and calculate your ways of life, and understand that, there is not good person or righteous person under heaven.
This is true, because only Jesus Christ the Son of God is our righteousness. He gives us His righteousiness.
“For He (God) hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who known no sin, that we (men) might be made the righteousness of God in him” 2Corithians 5 vs 21.
Therefore, righteousness is only through the Son of God, Jesus Christ. God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world. No! even when you are still in sin.
But, that through Him the world might be saved. There is no other thing God the father expects from us (men) than to give our lives to Him through Jesus Christ.
Today, repent of your sins and come to God through His beloved Son, Christ Jesus.
“The Lord God is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3 vs 9.
Failure to obey God will lead to eternal damnation. “Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish”. Luke 13vs 3.
Perish means away from the presence of God after death. Note, man to be away from the presence of God is the destruction of your soul in hell.
Be you poor or rich without Jesus Christ in you your soul will perish in hell says the scriptures. No doubt the bible says “what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul in hell? Mark 8vs 36.
This is the word of God, it can not fail. Heaven is real, and hell is also real. Choose today where you will spend your eternity.
In Psalm chapter 9vs17 . “It says, the wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.” Remember the story Jesus told about a certain rich man and Lazarus. In the book of Luke 16 vs 19-23. This story confirms the reality of heaven and hell. In verse 19, there was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day.
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores. And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: more over the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried.
And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
In conclusion, repentance and conversion would have made the rich man to be in Abraham bosom. He would not have been tormented in hell.
Give your life now to Jesus Christ, tomorrow may be too late, and accept him as your Lord and personal saviour so as to escape eternal damnation.
God bless you as you obey Him in Jesus name.
