Chambal Fertilizers & Chemicals surged 4% to Rs 61.05. The stock was the second biggest gainer in ‘A’ group.
Bharti Airtel moved up 3.95% to Rs 311.85 after the company submitted its application for 3G spectrum for all 22 service areas. The stock was the third biggest gainer in ‘A’ group. Bharti Airtel said on Friday that it had agreed with Apple Inc. to sell its iPhone 3GS in India in the coming months.
Sesa Goa advanced 3.50% to Rs 452.15. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in ‘A’ group.
Apollo Hospital Enterprises gained 3.27% to Rs 739.95 following reports that the company is planning to open 11 more hospitals in the next fiscal, which would add 2,000 beds to the existing 8,800 beds. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in ‘A’ group. The stock hit an all-time high of Rs 757.80 in intra-day trade Friday, 19 March 2010.
