Law Students Praise Varsity For Moot Court

Law students of the University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD) have expressed appreciation to the Prof Dipo Kolawole-led management for the construction of their Moot Court.
Damola Adediji, the governor of 300-level class, said: “It is a realisation of what we have been clamouring for and we are really grateful to the management for this. Now that we have a Moot Court, it will go a long way in making us better lawyers because law is not just reading. It is a welcome development. When I saw it, I was so impressed. It means issues that arise among students will be handled by law students. We thank the management.”
Michael Olaniyi, a 500-level student, is optimistic that with the availability of the Moot Court, they are moving towards getting back their accreditation. “I feel very happy although unfortunately, it is coming at the end of my stay in UNAD. I would have loved to enjoy the facility a lot more. But then, it is coming at a good time anyway, a time when we really need it. It is a major requirement for accreditation. With it, plus the fact that more lecturers have been added to the faculty and the provision of text books required, we are going to get full accreditation. And hopefully too, we will have unlimited quota to send to Law School. Kudos to the management.”
