Fortress House of All Nations marks 4th Anniversary
An interdenominational Christian Ministry, The Fortress House of All Nations, has marked its fourth anniversary with the call to Nigerian leaders to address the pains and challenges of the citizenry.
Lead Pastor and Founder of the Ministry, Apostle Asaminameh Attah made the call over the weekend during a homily he delivered at a commemoration service in Port Harcourt.
Pastor Attah challenged Nigerian leaders to be upright and focused on service, pointing out propaganda and deceit should be discarded so that the nation can move forward.
He said,” If our leaders are honest to the nation and lead us well, the people will not be crying of hunger and they fail to give a listening ear.”
The man of God lamented that righteousness has become a rare commodity among leaders, including Christians and as such, time has come to return to main foundation of Christianity which is service to mankind and society.
He lamented the division among Christians , arguing that the infighting among churches and their leaders has made a mockery of the Christian faith.
“I expect church leaders to be exemplary and take us to the promised land. While we are growing in numerical strength, we also need to grow in our spiritual strength.”
Earlier in his sermon, visiting Bishop Innocent Raphel commended Apostle Attah for upholding the vision and sustaining th drive to push the gospel of Christ to the oppressed.
The Fortress House of Nations was established in May 2021 , and was inaugurated by Pastor Praise Odedeji with the mission of evangelising and schooling church leaders on the propagation of the gospel.
In the past four years, the Ministry has saved thousands of souls, empowered men and women of God as well as provided succour and support for the less privileged.
