Firm Rescues Four Stowaway Nigerians Jettisoned By Foreign Vessels

Four stowaway Nigerians were rescued  by a maritime firm from the Atlantic Ocean after being thrown overboard by the crew of a foreign vessel.
The victims were rescued through the intervention of a maritime logistics company owned by France-based Nigerian entrepreneur, Mr. Harrison Niyi Alonge, an Ekiti State indigene.
The rescue operation was ordered by Alonge to ensured that the lives of the young Nigerians were safe.
This was contained in  a statement by the company’s Public Relations Officer, Olawale Ezekiel.
Part of the statement reads, “The crew, led by the ship’s captain, noticed suspicious movement in the water and raised an alarm, upon receiving the alert, Mr. Alonge immediately ordered an emergency response operation, which led to the successful rescue of the four stowaways.
“All four victims were found alive, though visibly shaken and severely traumatised.”
According to the statement, “they are currently in stable condition and receiving appropriate medical care. Their survival is nothing short of miraculous.”
Ezekiel gave the names of the four rescued Nigerians as James John, Favour Efe, Kingsley Williams, and Kingsley Mathew.
On the condition of the rescued youths, the  company spokesperson  said “They were holding onto floating debris, physically weak and barely able to call for help. Our team acted without delay. Any further delay might have resulted in a fatal outcome.”
