CAFCC: Ezeji Tips Rivers United, Club Africain for Next Stage

Nigeria Football Legend Victor Ezeji has expressed optimism that Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt and Club Africain of Tunisia will book quarter final tickets at the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC).
According to him, after  Rivers United FC beat Club AfrIcain hopes are high that they will go beyond group stage, saying both clubs play good football.
Ezeji said this on Sunday in an interview with sports journalists shortly after the Pride of Rivers as they are fondly called saw off  Club Africain 1-0 in the match day three of group C at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
He equally said that the game was a good one only that in the second half United allowed Club Africain to take full control of the game which was not good for the team adding that the most important thing was the three points.
“ Everybody expect Rivers United FC to qualify from the group after beating Club Africain. With this winning I expect Rivers United to qualify because the only weak team is APC de Lobito of Angola in which if United play welI they can beat them in Angola.
“The three points against Club Africain was very important what remains now is for them to go and beat Dream FC of Ghana or APC de Lobito away.
