Ogunbote Expresses Displeasure Over Errors
Remo Stars surrendered their lead to go down 2-1 against Kwara United in Ilorin last Sunday and an infuriated coach, Gbenga Ogunbote expressed displeasure about his teams dropping points against others playing catch-up with his side.
Kwara United was beaten 3-0 in the reverse fixture played in Ikenne on match-day 19.
“We had chances to double our lead but couldn’t utilise our opportunities and were careless with silly errors, which cost us.
”We have to concentrate on our next match against MFM at home to ensure we are not losing ground with teams around us,” Ogunbote said.
An elated Kwara United coach, Abdullahi Biffo, said, “Having gone behind, we had to dig deep to win the match despite our off-field challenges.
“We showed that we have one of the best squads in the league and we will continue to make use of what we have to achieve our objectives for the season,” he said.
