Pero Adeniyi Sues Annie Idibia For N500m, Demands Apology

The baby mama to Nigerian singer 2 face Idibia, Pero Adeniyi, has sued his wife Annie Idiba for N500 million over defamation of character and libellous online publication against her.
This comes a few hours after Annie Idibia took to her Instagram page to tender an unreserved apology to her husband, 2Face Idibia and everyone she has offended.
Kemi Filani recalls that in early September 2021, Annie Idibia took to her Instagram page where she attacked her husband for still having a sexual relationship with his babymama, Pero Adeniyi and his family for not having accepted her despite being legally married to their son.
In a legal document shared by Instagram blogger Gistlovers, Pero Adeniyi filed a petition to Annie Idibai, demanding an apology and compensation of Five hundred million Naira for the personal emotional distress, damage, embarrassment, shame, and emotional distress suffered due to malicious and defamatory publication against her.
Pero Adeniyi’s solicitors, Okonjo Odiawa and Ebi, in the petition written on her behalf, described Annie Idibia’s outburst onInstagram as claims as malicious, disparaging and false information of a defamatory nature to Pero Adeniyi, which subjected her to online bullying.
Pero Adeniyi also demanded a retraction of allegations by Annie on all her Instagram pages within 72 hours and additional N500 million compensation for reputation damage.
