Scrabble Boss Calls For Sponsorship

The. Head Coach of Rivers State Scrabble Association, ( RSSA) Tony Ikolo, has called on well meaning individuals in the State and across the Federation to Sponsor the sports  to an enviable height both at the State and National level.
Ikolo who is also the National Coach Nigeria Scrabble Federation (NSF) Said this at the weekend during the inauguration ceremony of the Bodo Scrabble Club.(BSC)
The event which started with a visit to the Maranatha Comprehensive High School (MCHS) witnessed a talk by the BSC grand patron,Hon. Pius Kpa.
Followed by a talk from the National and Rivers Coach, Scrabble Tony Ikolo on the Strides of Nigeria Scrabble and World no4 .
A top scrabble player in Rivers State and Nigeria, who is also the CEO, Klingbakeshop, Raymond  Bariza  Gbaraba, also spoke on the importance of skill correlating Scrabble and banking.
Meanwhile, A novelty match was played between the world no 4 player of the sport, Coach Tony lkolo and the founder of the BSC, and St. Pius College  scracbble Club Raymond Bariza Gbaraba.
Climax of the event was the handover of scrabble set to the Maranathan Comprehensive High school by the Head of Legislature, Gokana Local Government
Area (LGA), Rt. Hon. John Barikor and cutting of the customised cake/ Group photographs with school staffs and prefects.
