Bayelsa United’s Coach Targets NPFL
The head coach of Bayelsa United Football Club, Diepreye Tiebowei, has said that his target is to gain promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
He said that with the impressive performance of his players in the Governor Wike pre-season tournament, against NPFL sides, he sees no difference between them and NPFL Players.
Tiebowei who is popularly known as “Computer,” said this, in an exclusive interview with Tidesports on Saturday at the second edition of Governor Wike pre-season tournament in Port Harcourt.
“I think that with our performance in this competition and good management of players welfare we will achieve our dreams.
Governor Wike preseason tournament is very fantastic, because the games were very competitive.
“I am feeling happy not only because we played well in the competition, but because the level of the competition between NPFL, NNL and the amateur team were very high in the tournament” Tiebowei stated.
He noted that his team still needs good finishers that can score more goals in front of goal line and good defensive midfielders.
