Kinsmen Laud Diri Over Chief Of Staff’s Appointment
The people of Ologoghe community,Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa state,home town of newly appointed Chief of Staff to the Bayelsa state Governor and immediate past chairman, Ogbia Brotherhood,Chief Benson Agadaga, has expressed their appreciation to the Bayelsa state Governor, Senator Douye Diri, on the appointment of their son to the exaulted position.
Speaking on behalf of the community with journalists in Yenagoa on their expectations from the government, the chairman and Treasurer, Community Development Committee, CDC of the community Mr Alafuro Ibomani and Mr Amona Idumum, applauded Governor Diri for finding Chief Agadaga worthy for the office.
The community leadership noted that the Chief of Staff has distinguished himself in all his previous appointments, restating that he would bring his commulative experience to bear in his new appointment.
“Benson Agadaga(“the Agadema 1 of “Obhan Anyama” Anyama clan) has distinguished himself in different spheres of life. He was chairman, SUBEB, he had been commissioner for Information, he was also a permanent secretary in this state and in the preceding administration he was special adviser on establishment and he has also served his Ogbia kingdom as Chairman, Ogbia Brotherhood. He’ll not disappoint Bayelsans in his new appointment”, they said.
Meanwhile, against the backdrop of underdevelopment and general lack of basic infrastructure in the rural communities of the state, Bayelsans across board have tasked Governor Diri to focus on improvement of life in the rural areas.
