Headies 2019: Nancy Isime, Reminisce To Host Show

Organisers of the biggest and most prestigious music award in Nigeria, ‘The Headies’, have officially unveiled the hosts of this year’s edition tagged “Power of A Dream”.
The 13th edition of the award scheduled for October 19, 2019 at the Eko Convention Center, Lagos, will be hosted by ace rapper, Remilekun Khalid Shafaru popularly known as Reminisce and TV presenter and actress, Nancy Isime.
Recall that on September 21, 2019, the Headiest, Nigeria’s biggest music award opened its doors to receive entries for the 13th edition of the music show.
This year’s edition featured 29 unique categories in recognition of Africa’s finest artistes.
However, the ‘Next Rated’ category which everyone looks out for, has the likes of Rema, Fireboy DML, Lyta, Jeoboy, Victor AD and Zlatan Ibile hoping to have impressed their fans within the relatively short period they joined the music Industry.
The ‘Next Rated’ category is an award for most promising upcoming act in the year under review. It was first awarded in 2006 and presented by Hip Hop World Magazine; the winner of this category goes home with a brand new car!
Also, Nigeria’s music superstar, Burna Boy made history as the most nominated artiste with 10 nominations in the history of the award; defeating fellow singer, Olamide’s record of seven nominations in the 2015 edition of the award.
