Wike Advises Parents On Proper Upbringing Of Children

Rivers State Governor,  Chief Nyesom Wike, has called on parents to train their  children in a way that they will contribute to the  development of peace in the society.
Speaking during the funeral service of  Late Mrs Dorcas Ejekwu, the Mother-in-law of  Former Political Adviser to the Rivers State Governor,  Chief Glory Emeh on Saturday,  Governor Wike said parents should also mould their children to be productive.
Governor Wike was represented by his Chief of Staff, Engr Chukwuemeka  Woke, at the funeral service.
He said: “Let me use this opportunity to extend a message to all parents to mould their their children in a way that the society will be peaceful and productive.
“Parents should discourage their children from cultism and other social  vices”.
Governor Wike described  the Late Mrs Ejekwu as a true Christian who lived a worthy and successful life.
He said that the high quality life that she lived was reflected in the successful children she raised.
Also speaking,  Former Political Adviser to the Rivers State Governor,  Chief Glory Emeh expressed happiness that Mrs Ejekwu was buried in a peaceful and serene environment.
