Uncertainty Over Reps’ Resumption, ’Morrow …As Dogara Keeps Nigerians Guessing On Defection Move

Strong indications emerged yesterday night that the National Assembly may not after all reconvene on Tuesday as was reported last week.
It would be recalled that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Lasun told journalists during a briefing in Abuja, last week, that the House would reconvene this week to consider some important national issues which included the budget of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for 2019 general elections.
This comes as the Speaker of the House, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has kept Nigerians guessing on his widely speculated defection move from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
