Rivers United Assures On Away Victories

Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt Captain, Austin Festus says he has no doubt that his club will play in the continent this season.
He stated that in spite of the fact that his side has not picked away points, he is optimistic that they will secure away victories in their next away games.
Festus said this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports at the weekend, in Port Harcourt, saying that the expectations of the players and technical crew is high, because all the departments in the club were determined to make a statement.
According to him, the Rivers State government is doing her part well in terms of payment of salaries, allowances and match bonuses.
“We are sure to play continental game this season and by our next away match we will begin to pick points, because all my players are in high spirit”, Festus said.
The United’s skipper noted that only love and unity are the key to their success and used the opportunity to appeal to his players and the technical team to demonstrate love and unity to enable the club achieve their goal.
He further appealed to their fans and supporters to be patient with the team, saying that the old and new players in the team will soon blend to give the state, supporters and fans desired result.
He pointed out that it task little time for old and new players to understand themselves in the field of play.
