Institute Plans Training For Directors, Others In Rivers

The Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), Rivers/Bayelsa States chapter, has said that all is now set for the ‘Learners’ Forum’, a training programme aimed at boosting human resource productivity.
The training is to be attended by Directors, General, Chief Executive Officers, Managing Directors, Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Directors, Deans of faculties, registrar and heads of departments.
Others include Chairmen/Presidents of professional bodies, teachers, training managers/practitioners, Principals, lecturers, local government chairmen and all employers of labour.
According to the statement signed by the Chairman, NITAD, Rivers/Bayelsa chapter, Mrs Osondu N. Jaja and made available to The Tide, the programme with the theme “Learning And Development: Catalyst For Enhancing Human Resource Productivity” is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt by 11am prompt.
The statement said “NITAD is an affiliate of International Federation for Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO). It is a professional body of Human Resource Development (HRD) practitioners in Nigeria which is established to promote the science and practice of training and development”.
It further stated that participation was free saying “you may also exhibit your products or services at the venue and place your organisation’s advert or goodwill message inside the programme brochure at a subsidized rate.
