We’ll Not Disappoint The Nation – Rivers United Captain

Nigeria representative in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup Competition, Rivers United Football Club of Port Harcourt, has pledged the nation victory against its host KCCA of Uganda, slated for tomorrow, at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Kampala.
Captain of the club Festus Austine made the promise yesterday, in a telephone interview with Tidesports before leaving Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, for Uganda.
He stated that his players are aware that they are the only Nigerian club representing the country and they are expected to put in their best to make the country proud.
According to him, the team current form is capable of beating their host and any club in their group.
“I am optimistic that Rivers United will run away with victory in Uganda. We will not disappoint the country, because we are aware that this is the only club remaining in the continent”, Austine said.
Rivers United is the pride of Rivers State” and has not lost at home in their continental campaign, following their current impressive performance, most especially in the continental campaign.
