Banigo Lauds Wike Over Golden Jubilee
The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has congratulated the state Chief Executive, Chief Nyesom Wike, for successfully hosting the Golden Jubilee celebration, being a recipient of the Grand Service Star of Rivers StateAward as well as having a glorious two years in office.
In a statement from Government House, Port Harcourt, yesterday, Banigo said Wike was a prudent manager of human and material resources, especially in these austere times which have ultimately transformed the state.
“The volume of work done within two years of his administration is amazing even to his worst critics”, Banigo stressed.
She said the governor’s actions have proven beyond all reasonable doubts that he is a true patriot, who means well for the state, and called for all hands to be on deck to partner with the governor to move Rivers State to greater heights, irrespective of their political inclinations.
According to her, the Grand Service Star of Rivers State (GSSRS) conferred on the governor was well deserved, stating that the governor was already poised to deliver more democratic dividends to the Rivers people in the coming years.
Banigo assured that she would continue to provide the needed support to the governor to ensure that all the programmes and policies of the New Rivers Vision are realized, and prayed the Almighty God to continue to guide and strengthen the governor.
