The Ogoni people from different communities have celebrated the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for fulfilling his campaign promises, including starting work on the dualisation of the Saakpenwa-Bori Road and embarking on the total rehabilitation of the Birabi Memorial Grammar School, Bori.
A statement by Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, pointed out that several Ogoni people in separate interviews, at the weekend, expressed happiness that Wike has kept his words.
Those interviewed commended the Wike administration for exhibiting commitment in the execution of the road and the school projects, which will enhance the economy of the area.

A resident of Saakpenwa town, Ann Inchinga, said the people appreciate the efforts of the Wike administration  because  the road had been abandoned for several years without action from previous administrations.
