Amokachi Signs New Deal With Finland Club

The former Nasarawa and
Ifeanyi Ubah manager has signed a year deal with the Finnish division two outfit
Former Nigeria international Daniel Amokachi has been appointed as head coach of Finland’s JS Hercules for one year.
Amokachi will lead the newly promoted Finnish division side when the season begins and he is expected to bring his experience to the fore.
“It is certainly an adventure and a big change for me,” Amokachi told the club website.
“I take this is a great challenge. The team is young and passionate. I’m looking forward to working with them.”
According to club’s chairman Juho Syrjä, the Delicacy are proud to have the former Super Eagles star who played to the highest level.
“We are proud to work with him, as even in Finland Amokachi is well-known. He will bring new insight to our team because he has seen it all during his career,” said Syrjä.
Before his move to Finland, Amokachi was in charge of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

The victorious Nigeria U17 team of 2015 have been given cash rewards by President Muhammadu Buhari for their feat.
The Golden Eaglets won the Fifa U17 World Cup for a record fifth time in Chile after defeating west African neigbours Mali 2-0.
On yesterday, President Buhari hosted the victorious team alongside other national teams at the presidential palace in Abuja.
The President praised their bravery and determination to bring joy and glory to their fatherland as he received the trophy from captain Kelechi Nwakali.
The Golden Eaglets also got bumper packages from the President who rewarded each of the players with a cash award of 1.2million naira while head coach Emmanuel Emenike got 900,000 naira while his assistants got 600,000 naira each.
The main attraction of the day and President Buhari’s cherished Golden Eaglets team of the 1985 Class were adequately rewarded with N2 million each while their technical team led by assistant coach Christian Chukwu got N1.5 million each.
