The Super Eagles have
recalled Bature Yaro of Nasarawa United and Paul Onobi from Sunshine Stars to shore up a suspect midfield for tomorrow’s friendly against Niger in Port Harcourt, AfricanFootball.com has specially gathered.
The Eagles midfield struggled against Tanzania in an AFCON qualifier on Saturday in Dar es Salaam.
“We have a problem with the midfield and so for the match against Niger, Bature and Anobi have been asked to join us in Port Harcourt,” said a team official.
“Both players did well during our training camp for home-based players in Abuja.
“Hopefully, we will soon have a player like Ogenyi Onazi (he was suspended for Tanzania game after his red card against Chad in June) back for us to have a better midfield.”
