Karatekas, Kickboxers Get New Gymnasium In PH
A brand new gymnasium
(Gymn) for karate and kickboxing is set to be unveiled tomorrow and on the 15th of this month in Port Harcourt.
The gymnasium is built to accommodate both sports and would be unveiled separately for the athletes.
The large gymnasium which has facilities for karatakas and kickboxers is built and being donated by the General Manager, Plantgeria Company Limited, Marco Porgatoria.
The gymnasium would be made available to the State Karatekas and kick boxers for their training sessions.
Meanwhile, the facilities for the Karatekas is expected to be unveiled on tomorrow while, that for the kickboxers would be unveiled next weekend.
Tidesports gathered that the Permanent Secretary of Ministry o Sports, Mr. Nnordi Michael, the Director of Rivers State Sports Council, Sir Daobu Harry and the entire management of the Sports Council have been invited to be part of the unveiling ceremony.
