The statement said these incessant criminality has reached  an unprecedented level where many workers and residents of the state have been kidnapped, killed, attacked and maimed with impunity, adding that  no action has been taken by the security agents to curb this ugly  trend.
The union reminded the CP that the situation has become so bad that  many of the union members now live in fear and are actively seeking for transfers out of the state.
The union said in view of the incessant threats to lives and propertly in the state without effective security mechanism  of checkmating such nefarious criminal activities, the congress notifies the Commissioner of Police that if within 14 days there is no significant reduction in the crimes rate in the state, the union will take a  decisive  action.
They  reiterated that the union shall be forced to call an emergency  state council  meeting and where  the council so approves, the union  members would be withdrawn from  work in self defence, pending when the union considers  it safe for its  members to return to work.
The union leaders pleaded with the CP to give serious attention to their demands as the majority  of workers depend on the state police command for the protection.
