FCT Rocks Learn From B’ball League Experience
The Assistant
Coach of FCT Rocks male basketball club of Abuja Sunday Assisah, has said that his team had learnt bitter experience from this season’s DStv Men’s Premier Basketball League
Assisah however told newsmen in Abuja he was sure they would take the lesson in their stride for better performances in the future.
“What we faced was not what we anticipated it will be all through the league.
“We started very poor from the beginning and we never anticipated that it will turn out this way, because we lost all nine of our games and won one.
“But this is a huge lesson to be learnt, because automatically we are back to division one with our home loss on Friday, and that means we will not play in the Premier League for a year.
“So, we take it as a process of learning,” he said.
Plateau Peaks of Jos had beaten FCT Rocks 70-62 in a Savannah Conference week 10 games in the ongoing DStv Premier Basketball League.
The match was played at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium.
