CP Charges Police On Tenets Of Profession

missioner, Dan Bature, has charged officers and men of the police to uphold the tenet of the police profession. The Rivers CP who kicked off his familiarization visit to police stations in the state said both the police and other stakeholders have a crucial role in the protection of lives and property in the country.
Interacting with officers and men of the all  Mini-Okoro station in Obio/Akpor local government area of the state, Bature also stressed the need for community police, saying the move would o a long way in exposing and fighting criminality in the land.
He told police officers and men that working with the chiefs and other agents in their immediate environs would enable them to succeed in their daily activities.
Dan Bature warned his men to desist from bribery and corrupt practices pointing out that the present Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, since inception of duty, has sounded it loud and clear that there would  no hiding place for corrupt officers.
He enjoined the Mini-Okoro Police to queue into the change crusade of the present administration adding that he would not condone any lapses in his command.
