Keshi Snubs League Hotshot For Chad Game

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has overlooked the leading scorer in the Nigeria league Tunde Adeniji for a training camp ahead of next month’s AFCON qualifier against Chad.

The Sunshine Stars striker has fired five goals to lead the goals chart in the new season.

Keshi has named a 26-man squad who are expected to regroup in Abuja on Tuesday.

The call-ups include Warri Wolves goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, Mfon Udoh and Azubuike Egwuekwe, who have worked with Keshi in his first spell in charge of the Super Eagles.

Fresh call-ups include Sunshine goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Chinedu Udoji of Enyimba, Samuel Olabisi from FC Taraba and Michael Egbeta of Warri Wolves.

The match will be played in Kaduna on June 13.
