Heartland Shops For Midfielders
Heartland coach Erasmus Onuh has said that he plans to sign midfielders in the transfer window so as to fortify his team.
The Owerri club are seventh on the table with 12 points from eight matches.
They started the season like a house on fire, beating Kwara United and Shooting Stars away from home, but were upstaged in Owerri as they fell to Abia Warriors and Sunshine Stars.
Onuh has now been handed a five-match ultimatum.
“I know we have got some not too good results and I know what to do. I need to beef up my midfield after Week 9 games,” Onuh told stated.
“We are not struggling. That we lost two games at home does not mean we are struggling. Go and check the table and tell me if we look like a team struggling?”
