Whales Cricket Club Beats Panthers, Goes Second
Whales cricket club of
Port Harcourt, at the weekend overwhelmed opponents, panthers cricket club by four wickets in the on-going 2014/2015 Port Harcourt cricket league.
With this victory, whales have moved to second position on the log behind Benric cricket club which has qualified with it’s six point in the matches played so far.
Meanwhile, whales C.C’s Edidong Udotim won man of the match ???? in the Saturday fixture played at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) cricket pitch.
The current table shows that Benvic is leading with six (6) points followed by whales C.C, while, K-11 and panthers cricket clubs are yet to qualify as they are still struggling to secure four points to book a place in the final round of matches.
The next fixture would be played this weekend between Benvic C.C and k-11 C.C of Port Harcourt would be the last match before the final battle at same venue.
The league which kicked off on 13th December 2014 is expected to end on the fourth of next month.
